Economic evaluation of
PV solar power plants

RETScreen expert software

This course is an application training course for economic evaluation of any Photovoltaic Solar Power Plant. Topics firstly include basics in the financial analysis such as discount rate, cash flow and types of it, Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Return Rate (IRR). The second stage is the clean energy management software RETScreen Expert training. All worksheets including Location, Facility information, Energy model, Cost analysis, Financial analysis and Risk analysis will be extensively reviewed. Financial analysis consists of Inflation rate, Discount rate, Reinvestment rate, Project life, Debt ratio, Income tax, Depreciation, Electricity export escalation rate and economic evaluation of PV solar systems based on IRR for equity and assets, equity payback, NPV, Benefit-Cost ratio and debt service coverage. The last but not least part of the course is the Sensitivity Analysis and Risk Analysis.
